Japamala Resort by Samadhi Age 12 and Above Only - Tioman

Tamarind Tioman Restaurant serves a spread of Malaysian dishes. Il Tempio serves Italian dishes with traditional recipe, while grilled specialities are offered at Mandi-Mandi Restaurant.

The nearest public jetty is Genting Jetty on Tioman Island, which is 10-minute boat ride from Japamala Resort by Samadhi- Adults Only.

Buffet and ala carte breakfast is served at Tamarind Tioman Restaurant.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 12:00.

Sustainability Tax (Cukai Kelestarian) by the Pahang State Government from 1 February 2022,guests will be subjected to a mandatory Sustainability Tax of RM 3.00 per room per night and only applicable fortypes of accommodation rooms for hotel visitors throughout the State of Pahang. These amounts will be collected upon checkout by the hotel, on behalf of the Federal Government.

Due to the remote location of Japamala and occasional adverse weather conditions, WiFi and Internet connectivity service disruption is plausible. There is no mobile reception or coverage at the resort

All of our rooms are built based on Samadhi’s philosophy of preserving the sanctity of its natural surroundings. Most of the room has different layout and design. For any specific request related to room layout such as will be strongly subject to availability upon arrival. Nevertheless, Japamala Resort will be striving to ensure the best stay experience forguests.

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied toforeign guests. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Please be informed that the villa doesaccept third party credit card payments. You will be required to kindly present a photo identification and the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in or making payment at the hotel. In the event that you dohave the credit card used to make the booking, you will be required to make full payment on the credit card that you have in your possession. Charges on the previous credit card will be refunded within 14 working days.

Smoking includes tobacco cigarettes, vape, cigars, pipe tobaccos, cigarette leaves, bamboo pipes and water pipe smokes (bong, hookahshisha and mouassal) are strictlyallowed in the room. Smoking is only allowed on balconies and ground floors. Should a tenant smoke inside their room, they will forfeit their deposit and subject to a cleaning fee equivalent to one night room charge at the prevailing rate. Please be kind enough to respect this agreement.

Please be informed that children below 12 areallowed due to architectural design and safety concerns.

Each room is only allowed a maximum of 2 adults per room except the Hillside Sarang room category and above. Any request for an extra bed is subject to availability and chargeable at an additional MYR 250 nett per unit per night, inclusive of daily breakfast.

Please be reminded that the swimming pools arefenced off. This may require a level of supervision higher than one may be accustomed to elsewhere. Kindly note that there are no lifeguards present at the swimming pools or on the beach.

Please be informed that the East Coast Rainy Season in Malaysia is generally between November to February. Guests might experience frequent rains and rougher sea conditions during the rainy season, and are advised to plan their journey to Japamala Resort at their own discretion. For guests who opt to book the public ferry or flight, Japamala Resort, and the management reserves full authority tobe held liableresponsible for any public ferry and flight disruptioncancellation of services affecting the arrival to the resort.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note thatSpecial Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Seaview Sarang (with Kitchenette and Partial Sea View). Overlooking partial view of the sea, the room features a balcony with an outdoor plunge pool. The room includes a seating area, a kitchenette, and a dining table. Light cooking is allowed. ;
Penghulu’s House (with 2 bedrooms, and Plunge Pool). This 2-storey villa features 2 bedrooms and a private plunge pool. Includes a spacious outdoor deck with tanning beds. Upper level is the master room features a King Bed, a flat-screen TV, a seating area, and a balcony. The bathroom includes a standing shower and a bathtub. The lower level is the second bedroom with Twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and a standing shower. ;
Jungle Luxe Sarang (with Terrace and Plunge Pool). This room is located in the lower part of the resort with easier access to the main facilities. It is fitted with an open-air bathtub with the rainforest as its backdrop, hidden enough to allow total privacy. This room is equipped with a spacious balcony that is great or suntanning or simply relaxing. ;
Treetop Chalet (with Balcony and Rainforest View). This chalet features a balcony with a day-bed. Located above the jungle canopy, chalets are surrounded by nature and lush greenery. Chalets are equipped with a Smart TV and minibar. En suite bathrooms come with a hairdryer and shower facilities. ;
Seacliff Chalet (with Balcony and Sea View). Located on the edge of a mountain with views of the lagoon, chalets feature a balcony with a day-bed. Chalets are equipped with a Smart TV and minibar. En suite bathrooms come with a hairdryer and shower facilities. ;
Beach Sarang (with Balcony and Direct Access to Beach). The hot tub and spa bath are the special features of this double room. The spacious double room offers air conditioning, a minibar, a balcony with sea views as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower. The unit has 1 bed. ;
One-Bedroom Chalet. This chalets standout features are the hot tub and spa bath. This chalet consists of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries.
